FEE • TBD
DATE • TBD
REGISTER • Via “Contact Me”
This workshop is based on a hands-on practice with attention to your individual needs. The goal is to improve your photographic vision by helping you learn to observe, learn to imagine, and learn to express. The benefits will help you to pre-visualize and create art, enhance your digital imaging skills and give you a greater enjoyment of the overall process.
The day will begin with a brief orientation where the attendees will receive a list of assigned topics. We will concentrate on identifying interesting compositions with supporting elements to help you create your own unique images. We will also focus on enhancing your skills including the use of camera functions and light sources, both ambient and flash with the understanding of the qualities of front, side, back, soft, harsh, and multiple sources of light. A lunch break at the cafeteria will give the participants the opportunity to discuss, share and ask questions.
Throughout the day, the instructors will work with each participant to address personal learning objectives, discuss challenges with the assignments, provide feedback on the work, and answer your questions.
The workshop is designed for all levels of photographers.
Attendees may use digital SLR, mirrorless or point-and-shoot cameras.
*In the following month, attendees will be able to send the instructors a few images for review and critique.
